Most of us have faith in God, but very few have a correct perspective of their own faith. We pray to god for some favors and leave the matter at that, hardly doing anything more ourselves. But more sensible, realistic people supplement prayers with hard work in the desired direction. The truth is that prayers will have to be nourished by divinely inspired good intentions and deeds. God’s blessings and support should be sought after we design our life and work within the overall Divine Design as we understand it. Then work and worship will not be different. In any case, man’s duty is to do his part of a given task as well as he can. His hope of a right reward may then be looked forward to. If faith is total submission to god, prayers should be followed by total commitment on the part of individual concerned to the cause prayed for.
