The process of organisation is basically managerial function which involves the dividing and grouping of the activities of the enterprise and establishing the authority relationship on them. While the organisational structure is primarily concerned with the allocation of task and delegation of authority and responsibility amongst the members of the enterprise. Several types of organizational structures have been evolved. The important traditional types of internal organisations are the following: 1. Line or military Organisation, 2. Functional Organisation, 3. Line and Staff Organisation, 4. Line and Functional Staff Organisation, and 5. Committee Organisation.
