It’s always nice (though not essential) to find an attorney who believes in you. Such an individual may work harder in your favor, or perhaps help get you an intro to that A & R person you want to reach. Enthusiasm can go a long way, and can especially work in your behalf when your legal counsel is dealing with a label. Larry Rudolph recommends finding one” who you vibe with … who you feel comfortable with personality-wise … who will work with you on their fees and who believes in your talent.
