Every person has to work for making a livelihood. Nearly eight hours or one – third of one’s daily time is usually spent for work. But there are persons who work more to earn more so as to become richer quicker. The tendency is common among self-employed persons who do not keep fixed working hours. The trait is also seen among some students who spend all the time on study. Work becomes almost an addiction for executives in companies. Such persons are even described as workaholics. Yet, it is not good to work too much. Overwork will not only damage one’s health but also isolate him from family and friends, playfulness is indivisible part of human nature and it is ideal to retain it at lest partially throughout life. Overworking persons may earn more money or arraign higher positions but they cannot enjoy life or good health. They also miss the lighter sides of life. In the long run, they become duller than others and many develop all types of illness earlier than others.
