Radar Guns

Hi friends, we were at a baseball game enjoying the game when we noticed something that was getting a lot of attention on the sidelines. One of the coaches had a radar gun and was showing off the warm up pitches of his pitcher. The speeds were astonishing! I had not seen one of the radar guns used before and thought that it was a good idea to increase interests for future players. The coach then noticed all of the little ones excited about the process and allowed them to take a swing. This started something I do not think the coach imagined. Little ones came out of the wood work and the side show became more of an attention getter then the game itself! Having the gun was a great idea, using it during the game not so much! Then I started thinking about all of the uses for such a radar gun. We have speeders that think our neighborhood road is an interstate and those seeing me out there with a radar gun just might be what it would take to slow them down. You could use it to measure the speed in any sport from tennis to hockey as well! Have a nice day.
