The high divorce rate is only one of the major consequences of sexual incompatibility. Doctors are well aware of the relationship of sexual frustrations to neurotic health complaints among their patients. They know that women who suffer from lack of sexual response such as backaches, chronic headaches, menstrual discomfort, stomach and intestinal disorders, insomnia, nervousness, fatigue, depression, as well as many others ailments.
The wife who is sexually unsatisfied is usually difficult to live with. She expresses her frustration in the form of nagging, irritability, temper tantrums and weeping spells. She may try to compensate for her thwarted sex life by becoming fanatical about housework, expending her pent-up and unfulfilled urges in this way. Many not only project their husbands but take it out on their children, without being aware of what makes them behave the way they do.
