Most cases of impotency are psychological in origin and results form emotional causes. The machinery is all in good order, the tests are all normal, but erection does not take place because there is some problem in the mind this impotency.
Excess alcohol depresses the sexual function and is very often the cause of impotency. But alcohol in small does might also have the effect of intensifying sexual desire.
